The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 剧情总体来说还是太平了，观音道出禅机直到结尾稍微好看些。“般若波罗蜜”第五个字念不出也太刻意了，至尊宝看起来也不懦弱啊。
如果另起个故事能三星，非套经典有点没意思，再就是主演演技不太行…
就相当于星爷版的大话西游前传，多加点无厘头元素就更好了，虽然也有搞笑成分，太正经了点。至尊宝没眼看，紫霞倒是可以，颜值也高，但是少了点仙气，基本上可以和大话西游剧情衔接上，有些还有致敬场面，网剧做到这份上已经合格了，影院上映也不为过，里面还有几个熟悉的配角，还有达叔呢。
剧情非常简单，也规避了很多深层次的东西，中规中矩很寡淡，女主长挺美的，为了达叔的遗作，多给一颗星
紫霞是后期所有版本中找的最对的一个，最有紫霞气质的容貌了，整体故事还不错，只是最后大战有点太拉垮，五毛特效的无脑剧情冒充高潮有点不尽人意，其余都还不错，选景和音乐都挺认真，开篇音乐不错，后期结尾音乐有点不够味。
超越是不可能了，不过也有一些亮点，最后花絮达叔靠在墙边的画面一出来，不由得感动万分，片尾曲要加分。
达叔还来客串
看完了之后有一种感觉，星爷的大话西游那么好看，编剧刘镇伟的功劳要占一大半。
不到6分过分了，我觉着挺好，网大里的一股清流。
真的已经比刘镇伟后面的那些好太多了，感觉周星驰看了也会喜欢里面的一些东西。
结局是高潮。怀念的歌声，响起总是心潮澎湃。演职员表出来的时候，达叔加框了，热泪盈眶……
刨除达叔的情怀加分外，也挺不错的，至尊宝和紫霞在城门上的那段与周星驰版一样的感人。另外女主也还蛮可爱的。
最后演员表达叔名字被框起来，泪目了。
味道出来了，但是有点赶，毕竟只有78分钟。

紫霞最后流泪的瞬间我觉得至尊宝输了 我也快哭了 应该为紫霞再回到500年前的至尊宝
老戏新唱，却跳不出局限，如果不是对达叔的那份情怀，索然无味。
达叔最后的作品，确实弥补了这个为什么相爱的剧情
很有诚意的作品，女主也很好看，很感动，尤其是一生所爱，乐曲响起时。
