The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 男性导演拍的女性生存法则，一群男人们对女性的压力，这种压力是有形或者无形的，当这些压力集中在一个怪胎的身上释放时，那种恐怖是天然的，这种天然的恐惧是对男性权利与权威的影射，但同时其最后拿起斧头时的抵抗却又是那么有力量，怪胎的消失不是用斧头也不是用刀，而是用面对自己内心深处的从害怕到哀鸣到最后的和解和坦然。
最后的男生男连环生子真是太凶残了，代入女主视角真是又好笑又离谱的程度。

有一丢丢莫名其妙的结尾，我还希望再知道一点，到底是这个女的疯了，太内疚，还是咋滴。讲真大屏幕上生孩子就这么整真的没事吗？看着多少有点。。。反正啊是每个人都看得了
5.0 结尾的模棱两可，可以将主题进行180度转变，这才是全片最惊悚的地方
代入一下现实生活针对女性的种种恶意和犯罪，这片分明是写实现实主义了。（被跟踪警察毫不在意、神父替男性施暴说话、熊孩子裸男和房东的种种不适行为在生活中都无处不在）身为女性就是不得不面对随时可能发生的“恐怖片”场景，run & fight
前一小时好过后一小时，最后套娃场面实在是好恶。传递的道理直白到无非是——男人，一切创伤的来源。
如果不是最后血气腾腾的男人套娃特效做得不错，一星都不想给。但是套娃真的太爽太cult了，啊哈哈哈！赞美导演的想象力。
厌男片。a24的电影是不是都要有一段狂掉san值的镜头
有点《逃出绝命镇》的感觉，一村的人仿佛都不太正常。

这应该是我近几年看过最cult的片子了吧。她老公出场的第一幕我就知道了，无法控制自己情绪的控制狂，哈哈无能狂怒的男人。本来超级喜欢绿色，全片的绿让我看到这种水绿觉得有些压抑和惊悚。
宗教符号和隐喻很多，艺术又cult，血腥又古典优美。是女性可能遇到的所有困境了。
Ideology beside, it's a fucking good movie. Movie of the year for sure. Top top tier cinematography, sound design and acting. Kind of Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman at first, later fully dive into bizarre A24 uncanny valley. Alex Garland as the director: Ex Machina is good, but cheesy. Annihilation, fucking hate it. This one? Absolutely amazing.
