When he discovers that designer handbags are so desirable that some women will pay 100 pounds a month just to rent one, he's determined to have their heads examined to find out why.

Alex Riley is on the trail of the global food and drink giants. What's so special about them? How have they penetrated our brains so we recognise them like members of our own families? Alex travels the globe to find where they've come from and how they make us keep on buying them.
跟纪录片版（《露西尔与戴斯》）前后就差了几个月，聚焦同样的对象，形成互补，只是这个剧情版的信息量就相对少一些了。
Nicole Kidman的表演真的太完美了。
艾伦·索金编剧，拿的全是演员提名，没拿到编剧提名。本片的剧本也确实一言难尽，里面的人物塑造、剧情冲突以及议题的设置，浓缩在一周之内，依旧还是索金的水准，也因此让演员有了足够的发挥空间。但堆砌饿了如此多的议题，剧情臃肿无比，即使具体每一幕依旧优秀，但整体则平庸无比

这种闷对我而言就是欲盖弥彰，但盖不住的是滥用命题所致的空洞。
7分，暴风雨前的宁静，喜剧背后的悲伤。这档节目的最后一周注定不平凡，几重风雨，几多波折，镜头面前是笑脸，镜头背后是争执，观众看到的永远是他们最好的一面，而背后的故事才更让人心酸。
以喜剧作为事业，妮可的角色本可以具有白兰芝那么丰富的维度，但她被压缩得何其扁平？艾伦索金用牙尖嘴利的“幽默”把她的人格撑爆，让人只觉她吹毛求疵没事找事。

从思想意识、专业水准、家庭责任等方面来讲，露西称得上是一个近乎完美的女人。然而就是这样一位演员，却没有走到本应该属于她的位置，甚至蒙受了丈夫的背叛。电影中的要素确实过多，但女主角的人格魅力却没有受到丝毫掩盖。而妮可·基德曼对现实中和情景喜剧中两个不同露西的诠释，简直就像一人分饰两角般精彩。
看得蛮费劲的片子～结束时大舒一口长气！坚持看下来主要是为演职班底的明星效应，其次是春节+疫情叠加的孤独，努力去体会另外一个女人在戏里戏外对家的追求，果然《旺达幻视》一般，完美家庭是主妇梦的幸福终端！至于结果，手动配白眼表情包：“切，男人！”，八卦俗套里的；不坏不可爱，如果靠得住～呵呵，猪都会上树。
索金的台本功底一如既往的强大，甚至太强大，以至于有些地方本人不得不暂停或者回放以便确保能keep up with him。
是不是化妆问题，有时候妮可很像妮可有时候就看不出来。整个故事很老气。
政治/国族：美国与古巴、共产主义；女性：逻辑与观点取舍。最近关于戏剧、电影、新闻的片子似乎特别多，是对于文化产业以外的世界失去了感知吗？——感觉算是一种阶级文化的银幕重归。妮可打的针太恐怖了。
爱人的名字与巴士底狱押韵，仇恨阿共但更仇恨麦卡锡，你代表了凡人我代表了自己，笑点世代隔阂但尊重彼此存在，演员比观众更需要一个维持幻象的魔法小屋，迷失晃神在一句“回家”的台词……群戏精彩的同时主线足够浪漫心碎，却也很理解其中内容的左右不讨好，加之索金一贯的信息量过载，难免广受差评
得了艾伦·索金躁狂症，实在是受不了这套了……
片子来了一个尴尬的高潮 又来了一个奇怪的反高潮……就这样吧

在两条纠缠不清的剧情主线中我陷入了观影迷茫……（二刷：这次思路清晰了很多，故事主线就是露西挽救她破碎婚姻的过程。原来她才是现实世界中的旺达，凭借一己之力建立了一个美好的家园，在那里，她和她深爱的人一起过着幸福的生活。）

影片讲述的那一周她同时遭遇了事业危机和婚姻危机，被非美活动委员会调查，怀疑丈夫出轨，焦虑和不安全感影响了她的思维。
