剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     本片作为《后窗》在大数据时代的一个翻版。在双向全景敞视的窥视下，公寓里的私人空间向着公共空间拓展，而疫情之下的封城和禁闭则加强了这种窥探。但索德伯格并非着重于此，而是借以隐喻技术全景式的监控。通过KIMI安置/侵入私人领域，形成了一种更为隐匿的监视，而背后的监听者和管理者是始终在场的，但其同样也处于这个网络之下。因而这种监视更像是一种层级监视，整个社会系统俨然是一个巨大的摄像头。与《后窗》类似，尽管监听者采取了道德行动，转化为监听程序中的一个能动的节点，但更值得考虑的是，技术物本身的道德能动性是否早已复合于人的行动之中。
