The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 点子虽好但成色欠佳，节奏太慢看得人兴致缺缺，导演表达和虐杀情节一度无法兼容。以及《闪灵》的N+1次用法。如果偏老年人看了绝对火冒三丈，本来老年性生活的话题已经被忽视了太久，你可倒好，直接放到恐怖片里。

音乐很赞，摄影也很惊叹；可 Ti West电影一贯叙事风格俺就是欣赏不来，it is set in the 70s but still feels very modern；想到了Texas chainsaw massscre.
除了navel-gazing有点儿严重之外（自指这一点Scream原版拿捏得最到位），整体都不错。
题材上比较无感，作为砍杀片没有一味贩卖血浆，而是借助剪辑和氛围把控逐步引导观众进入杀戮，一些视听处理和交叉剪辑点的选择上还是带来非常紧张的观感的，前半部分叙事节奏偏慢，但铺垫的不错，收尾略显仓促，但是靠电视机话外音和警察吐槽又自我解构了一番，算比较另类了。（7.5/10）
一个简单并且庸俗的故事，观后感就是老年人性生活也是不可忽视的。如果单纯考虑恐怖元素，该片还有那么一点点可看度。
摄影构图和剪辑是最大优点，插帧式的跳剪大部分是有信息量的，结局牧师放出女主画像震撼力十足，不过不太明白导演想表达什么。
居然有感说被感动到哭了，就这？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？
本来还以为女孩子会一起活下来，没想到最后就只有……而且主角根本啥都没干吧！！！莫名其妙就捡了两个人头……不明所以。观感还行，就是引发了一点我对老去的恐惧，有点不适。

Sex的确会影响到人的生活观念，更不用说还是在1979年。本片又一次证明人性之恶比鬼神更恐怖。

老的快掉渣的一对夫妇，战斗力爆棚，男的当过兵也就算了，老太太连杀连青壮男子，这么容易的吗？那个收音女孩真招人烦。那个老太太的妆看着太恐怖了，跟鬼似的
有点意思。
