The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 开篇即致敬法斯宾德伟大的《柏林亚历山大广场》，魏玛共和国最后的疯狂与荒诞与光怪陆离。从超现实跃入现实的场景中，失之于太过单纯和温情，欠缺法斯宾德那种爱比死更冷的残酷与冷漠。尽管两位朋友的结局依然是悲剧收场，却依然为这个世界留下了太多希望。
影片从另一个角度展示了一战后德国人的迷茫、经济凋敝和人们精神的虚无，正好为纳粹那种高亢的言行所诱惑。

尽管视听极其有辨识度与流畅度，但是太做作矫情。里面的每个人物都像得了文艺装逼病，且都病得深沉，都不讲人话。建议少做梦少说胡话多干点实事。

山雨欲来前柏林的混乱与失序，像是最后的狂欢，清醒的人只能试图逆流而上，英文片名很直白。胶片很美，手持晃太狠了
实话实说，我看的太没意思了，断断续续，还是我层次不够啊。
结局会马上想到《横道世之介》。不该死的人死了。
跟常规历史片的制式完全不同，晃动的手持加随性的变焦实现了纪实的质感，前半小时在形式跳转花了很多心思，不断介入的旁白又在不断制造间离。从头到尾都看不进去，感觉游戏的心态和厚重的主题之间始终没有达成和谐。#40th Istanbul Film Festival#

电影风格快速利落，又同是魏玛时期的背景，不得不令人想起巴比伦柏林。电影的情绪张力与灵光时刻不断，近期看过电影中的最佳

火在烧，但不是为了燃起光亮，而是为将希望烧成灰烬。
又开始了……TV最后几集合并起来了吗？这种剧场版有意义吗…
有些人无法解开自身的枷锁 然而却可以救赎他们的朋友
最后很明显得能预见到，在混乱世界中，“众人皆醉我独醒”的人，如果不甘同流合污，那大概率受到悲剧的收场，令人无奈。
绝对是一部需要一定门槛才能看得懂的电影，但即使看不懂，也不影响这是一部有吸引力的电影。
