The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 9·11二十周年&疫情时的官摄意义非凡。演员们魅力四射，编排和演唱数度让人感到激动与兴奋。“Be anxious for nothing拥抱不同，能够真诚地相信爱，付出爱。”当下的人类，无比需要这样的作品来激励并唤醒人性中的善良和爱。

管制中心那段太真实了，航空用语非常标准
密集的台词和唱段、动听的旋律、热闹的舞步、简洁炫目的舞美、缤纷的笑料和点到为止的感人瞬间，百老汇太强了。女机长的solo曲目Me and the Sky进入单曲循环。
离别是：今日舟与车，并力生离愁。明知须臾景，不许稍绸缪。
优秀音乐剧有巨大的能量！极简场景中的演员调度和一秒转场神到我了，一路O嘴惊叹。
有可能不太能欣赏这种一直高频歌唱的歌舞剧，911背景下依然没有感到感动，个人角度。
超赞！谁能想到，我先是偶然听到了机长的独白歌被深深吸引了然后发现了这么好看好听的剧！

So Canadian! 没能在多伦多看现场也要加入多伦多遗憾清单了。
挺感动的。在现有体量和形式下做得够好了…（音乐剧本身就很难把内容做得特别深）这个戏本身也像911事件中的甘德一样提供了近乎乌托邦式的美好、友善、温暖。对于戏剧应该如何改编真实事件，和当下产生互动还蛮有启发的。
舞台与影像的结合实属惊艳，舞台戏剧本身的魅力也充分表现，同一演员、同一空间表现出了多样的形式，在疫情后的第一场百老汇演出确实惊艳。但戏剧内容实在平庸，讲来讲去不过是娱乐至死至上的美国价值说教，戏剧演员的格式化表演也无法承受镜头的张力……网上看到一半自觉无聊便退场。
经常发现眼泪先于大脑感受到情感，或者情绪，我不懂。
其实历史永远不应该只有一面
