The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 后半段Cult和隐喻部分实在是让人看的生理不适。不过对女性的压抑确实也表现得有点惟妙惟俏

摄影不错，但剧本不行，情节推进太慢，比《湮灭》差得太远了，25分钟弃剧。

Alex Garland’s movie style really amazes me, he filmed the british countryside so beautifully. Wanna visa the forest of dean to see the tunnel now. Rory Kinnear got range, he can act every fucking thing, even a new born baby. Jessi Buckley is like made for these kind of movies. we lived under the patriarchy for so long. That birth scene.

Ideology beside, it's a fucking good movie. Movie of the year for sure. Top top tier cinematography, sound design and acting. Kind of Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman at first, later fully dive into bizarre A24 uncanny valley. Alex Garland as the director: Ex Machina is good, but cheesy. Annihilation, fucking hate it. This one? Absolutely amazing.

前半段画面太美，疯狂截图，后半段生娃简直让人李安附体“我看不懂但我大受震撼”
伊甸园的禁果，生育的解构，男性视角的透析。极度的厌男，一绝的视效。但确实有些偏颇与生硬。
