Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'

就像是回老家拜访老邻居，聊聊天说说话，看看这几年他们过的好不好，那时候还在地上蹒跚学步的小孩有没有长高，家里老人身体是不是还硬朗。。。

这是一个关于梦想的故事，友情爱情和事业，任何东西在时间下闪光，在时间下褪去，又在时间下显得弥足珍贵。 这是一部关于音乐的故事，镜头前的加菲在歌唱，镜头后面的导演在编排，这些都是映射创作者的内心，这才是平凡的故事收获的感动！ 听，tick，tick。。。Boom！

虽然不认识这人，但后面的音乐还挺有感觉的。

而现实里龙套很多，主角只有一两个。
片中有很多眼熟的音乐剧演员献唱，但轮到加菲就断崖式下跌。
年度惊喜，加菲表演太精彩了，剧情流畅，感情细腻，配乐更是美妙。主角团队演唱的每一首歌都超级好听，故事中透露着力量。导演用的叙事手段很高明和传记本尊故事一样激动人心，紧扣人心。一场无与伦比的视听盛宴。
纪念今年疫情以来第一次的电影院观影，第一次看唐顿庄园，看到了一些留学时熟悉的old fashion的英国人，里面每个角色都很美好，一点本土英剧的影子都看不到，本土剧对于我来说是eastenders和cornation street的残酷和狗血，但残酷里又有每日的生活，live like British!

即使剧情老套而鸡汤而且舞台剧风格还是太明显，但这完美的音乐和加菲惊艳的表演还是不免让人忘却一切缺点。拥抱音乐与感动

未必是最好的影片，却是当下最难得，最契合个人情绪状态的电影。同片中的主人公一样，在某项事业上投入了数年的时间精力，却没有得到任何回报，而身边所有美好的一切也一点点从自己生命中逝去。到底是再投入数年时间，还是退出这个行业另谋出路呢？我的人生又还有几个年头允许自己这么去挥霍消磨呢？
孙女是不是《神奇动物在哪里》的女主角？
节奏流畅，情感充沛，音乐好听，乔纳森·拉森才华横溢，但也如同一块培根在生活的大铁板上忍受数不清的煎熬翻炒才有了上桌的资格。人生何其艰难，有使命感何其幸运。
从求婚到葬礼，从死亡到新生，一切依然那么优雅高贵精致，完美得几近童话。
