The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 喜羊羊和灰太狼上一个虎年的大电影《虎虎生威》感觉还不远，这次的虎年大电影是热血篮球。原来是筐出胜利的大电影，感觉就是在原来人物设定的基础上让它们去演了灌篮高手……粤语版听起来蛮带感的。

剧情比tv版稍套路，但有tv版铺垫，还是很感人的。为了着重描写决赛，导致训练完后进入决赛的剧情一笔带过，稍微有点草率。
