The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 有几个镜头从奥斯卡的侧脸几乎看到了德尼罗😂意料外非常色气的角色。跟玩牌关系不大

摄影和剪辑很加分。虽然但是，对于黑狱中的执行者没啥值得原谅的，尽管他也是个人。
救赎——一个稳定的母题，施拉德的每一部主角都是同一个男人的影子
淡淡的忧伤，说不上来的感觉；记忆深刻的一个人在被白被单裹好的桌子上一边记录，一遍喝酒的场面；可能内心中有这样的渴望。
男主毁灭式的复仇太牵强，小孩不过是认识没多久。讲扑克又不花笔墨在扑克上，两头不到位。
核算拍没多大关系，虐人者人恒虐之，中间我是睡过去了。
几乎承载理性的固定镜头：只横摇，推轨时景别却不变，变焦时聚焦主体又不动。以及，奇观的3D样的鱼眼长镜头。
监狱VR，感觉就像是没有贴好的hdr环境贴图。一个关于自我救赎的故事。
算牌人初进年轻人旅馆镜头首次出戏，整体冷感基调尚不成熟，不出色不坏。
赌场为障眼法，重要的是对两座监狱截然不同的描绘方式，创伤由此展示切口。片尾反在空间隔阂中，用指尖的相连扣了题，精彩。奥斯卡·伊萨克分外迷人。
Great story, 同时有一些让人毛骨悚然的细节(USA!)。质感层面实在太糟糕了，基本在保全故事角色和美学制作上只取其一，拜托谁去再给他点钱（和时间）吧！
'You win, you walk away. You lose, you walk away.' 片尾的转折多加1分，本来以为会是个温情故事。

这啥啊，一开始还以为又拍一遍出租车司机，结果差的远了，bgm还可以
以全片做铺垫为了引导别人看爽快血腥的复仇结局。。。结果就这。。。
导演和音乐很不错，故事到后面有点崩，让我有些昏昏欲睡。
一开始觉得声音和监狱走廊的拉伸感蛮好的（质地接近升级版的广角麦芽糖？），但后来感觉这些乍看新奇的东西被很多倒胃口的设计拖下水了（比如说那种近似中国城市夜景的灯光秀）…… 在保罗施拉德的作品里比较次等。
