The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 很真实啊。有时候理想是完满的，现实总是交错的、困惑的，而你在其中沉默，被批评，做了道德上“错误”的事，当你自己尚未理解一切。
一个非常合格的小成本商业片，套在这样一个历史真实事件下去讲述，哪怕我们不是非洲人，也能快速的感受到那个时代世界所带来的歧视以及反抗，因为黄种人也好，地域歧视也好，我们谁又能说没经历过那种不平等的对待呢
