The IMAX "Cosmic Voyage" film was made as a public service with sponsorship by the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. On DVD, borrowed from my local public library, it plays at just over 30 minutes with Morgan Freeman supplying a pleasing narrative. As one would expect from an IMAX film, the image quality is superb and the Dolby 5.1 sound track is very well done. Simulated cosmic explosions shake your walls! That is, if you have a good powered subwoofer in your system. The film takes a very useful approach to examining the size of the universe, from tiny sub-atomic particles to the vastness of the whole universe. (Fortunately, when God created the Universe he had dispatched a few angels with video cameras at different vantage points so we get to see actual footage from several billion years ago.) The film starts in Venice, where the discovery of the telescope originated, and uses a one-meter hoop as a reference point, then gradually goes larger by powers of 10, e.g. 10 meters, 100, 1000, etc until we can see the whole universe. Then it takes the opposite journey, going smaller by powers of 10 until be see inside sub-atomic particles. The story is well-woven with beautiful effects created especially for this film. It is entertaining and educational at the same time. All of "oldsters" can enjoy it for the scientific history we are already familiar with, and all the "youngsters" can enjoy it for the educational supplement it provides. Overall a masterful film. Any numerical "rating" of "Cosmic Voyage" is meaningless. If one is looking for a superb film about our universe and modern theories of its formation, this one is hard to beat. 哥哥长相有点像徐娇。伊桑霍克全程面具差点没认出来。
上映前被吹得太过，实际就是一部普通的B级片。被绑架前的文戏太冗长，妹妹线有头无尾，对其能力毫无解释，我的大Ethan上了海报首页，戏份却少得可怜，总的来说差强人意。

原来是斯蒂芬金儿子的故事，还是有些意思，如果男孩之间的友情铺垫在多点就更有味道了
可以不用这么长的。。。结局过于仓促，没有父亲救赎。
如果能把伊桑和他弟弟两个角色给做丰满了，那就很好看了。导演之前的《险恶》也有类似毛病，但险恶里反派毕竟就是邪神啊，这里面是人的角色撒….

5.5/10。有那么一点斯蒂芬金的味道，但是故事拍得好分裂啊。
反杀那一段还是挺爽的，可怜的Ethan Hawke，全程遮着脸，一露脸就死了。妹妹很暖也很酷。
不明白为啥友邻都不咋喜欢这部片子，当所有的线索铺陈汇聚在一块，使出全力击昏面具男并走出房子时，那一刻是真的燃炸了啊！喜欢里面的摇滚乐，满足基本情绪把控的同时融入了那个权威形象还是白痴的年代。有时候一个工工整整的剧本照样能吊打某些靠个人牺牲才能调动情绪的电影。
披着恐怖外衣的少年成长记，但文本内容至少砍掉一半，比如前期50分钟的废话，才会足够精炼，惊悚片的通病它也比比皆是，比如凶手的动机成因，警察饭桶群像，以及脱逃试炼的失败告终，不过电影结合了贴近社会现实的儿童绑架案，但又搭配灵异元素的穿插，让这个自救的故事多了几分看点，小男主成了困顿地下室冤魂的一道曙光，每个被害的孩童把在这个牢笼里尝试逃脱的经验通过“黑色电话”分享与他，以他获得的自由来得到救赎，借他反杀的手得以慰藉，充满悲情气息的血偿代价，成长的议题里多了一分勇气和一分灵动，但少了逻辑思维的把关，整体看下来就拧巴了，伊桑霍克的反派孱弱的像个纸老虎，估计也是从隔壁童话故事汇里借来的吧。★★☆
