The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 紧紧凑凑的一部剧，soon we all say goodbye
曾经买了票却因为疫情取消的巡演；小成本制作的最佳效果；一群人演一群人、每个人都是主角、所有的“自己”都是“别人”……令人惊喜的新形式，甚至还歪打正着地蕴含了某种深度，不禁让人感叹，剧场到底还能玩出多少新花样？缺点是三观过正、略显说教……非常怀念音乐剧现场——911事件二十周年纪念日看“官摄版”
虽然电影的音效远没有现场表演来的有感染力，但是在镜头语言上得到了弥补…看完emo了一会儿，已经不记得上次进剧场是看了什么剧了😭

层次非常丰富的百老汇舞台剧，大到人道主义，小到个人友情、爱情；从种族问题讲到女性、LGBT群体的社会接纳；有生离死别，也有相遇重逢。正如剧中所唱，一些东西失去了，另一些被建立起来了。整部剧的基调是自由主义式的，或许这才是正确对抗恐怖主义的途径。用融合代替隔离，用积极代替阴郁，用好好生活代替暴力反应。（观影时间：2021年10月6日；自评：8.3；推荐指数：★★★★★）
节奏很好，角色塑造得也很好，设定很巧，能这么有趣确实意料之外，没打五星是因为旋律没戳中我，个人喜好。。。
