一开始的枪战其实拍得不错，但全片的问题在于有点前后不搭调，释放曼德拉的诉救求是半中间才出现的，所以片子有了割裂感。

黑人为了自由，为了自身不被种族歧视而抗争之路，在有白人的世界一直那么艰难。这部影片也拍的很真实，充满了人性的张力。《误杀2》似乎和这个真实的故事很有相似。
