The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 我真的是太吃音乐剧了，尤其是这种在舞台、道具极其简陋的情况下，完全依赖于演员超稳定的发挥、极强的信念以及精密的编排所营造出来的代入感。12位演员用相同的道具场景不停歇的完成16000人的五天生活，在一气呵成的2小时内分饰多角不出错之余还能将所饰演的角色塑造的如此鲜活丰富，太厉害了。这种彻底的塑造也落实到了现实当中，女性机长的天空之歌、躲藏的同性之恋、被排挤怀疑的种族歧视，这些都没有去刻意遮盖，而且用甘德小镇的美好真诚去突出大城市甚至是大国的狼狈。最后，以群体去片面的筛选个体虽然不公但确实是最高效的。

看音乐剧真的能让我感动生理性的愉悦 并不是什么需要拆解钻研的深奥主题 也没有复杂的情感层次 爱 感动 一些主旋律的关键词 永远可以相信百老汇的演绎 对于美国的文艺作品非常钦佩的一点就是正视创伤的勇气 We honor what we lost we commemorate what we got. 很喜欢Dover Fault的片段 大陆汇聚又分离 但总会留下痕迹 正是脚下的这座小岛 自然的洪荒 时间的绵长 和你我的命运如此交织在一起。
好喜欢。去追求浮于现实之上的一切，fantasy，pleasure，而不是执着于现实的泥沼。
从细节切入的真实历史事件，通过几个具有代表性的角色人物，在空间有限的舞台上完成了一部叙事完整、情感饱满的音乐剧。非洲人、穆斯林、女机长、gay couple、动物保护者、911遇害消防员的母亲，每一个角色的icon都或多或少有些沉重，但剧情还是以诙谐的方式展开。
