The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 唱最凶狠的歌，干最阳光的事。《重金属天团》就是典型的好莱坞音乐青春片，还是价值观特正的那种。套个摇滚的题材，宣泄的全是成长的烦恼。元素的错位反差固然建立了很多有趣的情节，可是对于摇滚乐来说，这完全就是个门外汉在想当然。精神内核没有丝毫重金属的气质，就只是在外形上耍耍假把式。电影有趣不带表达对跨载体的艺术创作就是对的，就本片来讲，音乐和故事一定要分开来看的，当作童言无忌的表达便罢。

配角真的更好看，但是主角的确更具有辨识度。

每个热爱metal的人都是偏执狂，包括我自己。
大量精确丰富的金属梗，这片子太用心了！白色的拨片一眼薄，以为是道具出了问题，不知道弹金属该用什么拨片，没想到后面直接用了拨片梗！还有真正的天团四个人，一个内心活动的演绎竟然都请来了！总之金属迷，尤其是弹电吉他的，看了这片子一定会高潮。
