During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 各种喜欢，太久没看这种西部片了，前一天刚看的奇异博士多元宇宙，再看这个简直惊为天人，熟悉的电影感，稳定的镜头，压着嗓子的对白，不屑的神情，骨子里的天王老子来了也不怕的反叛，好想在院线里看到啊，老子天下第一，谁来干谁
其实每个人都在努力地活着，用自己的方式。每个人也都有自己离开世界的方式，这个就是由每个人生存的方式决定的。片子倒是拍出了西部片的特有味道，音乐也很好听。

题外话背带好帅，可是太难穿出合适的感觉了
西部片的味道挺足，但很多细节方面不够严谨，比如老亨利躲在草窝子里跟劫匪们第一次近距离接触，我不知道他是怎么一下子就骑马跑了，在三个人围剿的情况下，他根本就抬不起头，爬走的能有这么快吗？还有最后在他家门口跟群匪的战斗，我就不信那么多人朝他开枪，没一个能打中他，还有他儿子开门出来对射，居然也能全身而退。不管西部片的氛围营造的再地道，细节不严谨那就跟那些抗日神剧差不多了。近期看的《接住子弹》比这更差
老亨利，邦尼，比利，活到现在不容易，年轻时大杀四方，脱身后想着隐居下来，安分守己种地当农民，把儿子抚养大。偏偏事情找上门，重现当年勇，杀了一大片，可惜农夫与蛇。景色美丽，节奏好。
故事很简单，结尾还来了一次反转，挺有意思的。老年比利小子重出江湖，老当益壮啊。
又一部细腻、丰满、深沉、张力十足的西部片。前面压节奏徐徐展开，各种细节铺垫、营造出内敛而愈趋紧张的氛围，几乎没有配乐却难掩紧张不安、蓄满了“山雨欲来风满楼”之势。最后对决干净利落，怜子之情自然流露，揭示老亨利的真实身份的同时给片子增添了些许温情与悲壮色彩。近期难得的佳片。
传奇英雄，永恒话题，以一敌十的个人英雄主义。画面唯美，摄影感人。

十分硬核和老派的西部电影，全程一直担心儿子会死，没想到最后是比利小子死了。。。
永远不要惹你大爷！西部爽片，不知为什么，很喜欢西部片对枪的感觉。
老亨利年轻时是比利小子，大概是大盗之类。整体故事简单，但是西部片多是这种打打杀杀的彪枪场面。（2022/4/7 疫情泛滥不知周几的日子）
论一部剧情简单的西部剧为何拍的这么有嚼劲，归根结底角色人物塑造成功对于一部电影是多么重要！国内就是差这个
尽管粗粝感有了，但终究打斗过程过于简单而前面的铺垫有些冗长，其中的几条支线也和主线没啥必然关联，当然更重要的是，作为中国人，我们对西部世界并没有情亲感，很难为情怀再加一星了，

群枪战开头的时候帅毙了！灵活的小交叉步+压低的左轮手枪，令人着迷！！！（看到这里我又联系到自己喜欢一个人完全不在意外貌这件事了
完成度很高 每个人都有强烈的人物风格 老枪手要不顾一切救那个年轻人 是对自己小时候被救的一种报恩? 这个设定与他整体出世的态度存在矛盾
