The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 平遥节看的第三部“从山西出发”单元作品。出人意料地质量扎实，演员整齐，特别是山西话剧舞台的老演员精彩：托数字摄影的灵活，导演把家庭单元住房内的众多场景调度得真实、流畅，长镜头出色。后半部加入虚幻笔触，有些多及晦涩，影响了高潮戏的清晰与饱满。祝贺山西出发的新人新作！
