剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     十分惊喜！充满新意的经典改编。有一点先锋艺术的感觉。极简的风格却营造出了阴沉压抑的氛围。服装、布景、光线都很到位。

    导演以原创剧本出名，看之前还以为只是借用《麦克白》名字，剧情跟原版没啥关系呢，没想到基本是照搬。大家都知道麦克多蒙德和华盛顿是当今最优秀的演员之二，有必要几年内再改编莎翁的剧来提供炫演技的舞台吗？（俩位到西区舞台现场表演的话倒是有兴趣目睹下）剩下主要是极简，表现主义舞台设计和音乐有些出彩，百分钟左右的片长还算比较妥当。

    【NYFF59 - ACH全球首映】近年在电影里看到过最好的黑白摄影之一，美得毛骨悚然。虽然依旧是麦克白的陈规故事，但是科恩在这部电影里做的aesthetic简直无与伦比，半戏剧半实景式的布景、转场、特写，都精致得每一框都可以当画。Frances McDormand的表演不用说了，Danzel其实也给我点惊喜，有点之前扮演者没有的外化疯癫。4.5，真的太需要在大银幕上感受美感了。

    舞台化的步光以及黑白选择，非常古典，电影化的电影。除了丹泽尔华盛顿的台词有点温吞，几近完美。有几个镜头及构图实在是美不胜收，这才是光影中作画。

    太失望了，本来我期待的是一部黑色谋杀犯罪片，结果是一部美术片。丹泽尔华盛顿的麦克白令人昏昏欲睡，科恩嫂的麦克白夫人后期还有点意思。

    I have no words it’s so well made in every single aspect. I loved the witches, the birds, the leaves, the girl in the water, the monologue. Frances McDormand and Denzel Washington are THE actors of their generation. Will need a rewatch with subtitles in the future.
