The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 本想说咱都受过帝国主义苦，看在阶级友谊上要严肃看待这部“南印版战狼”。可是对不住啊，兄弟，你这挂实在太欢乐太浮夸了，载歌载舞又实诚，全程笑得合不拢嘴。俩角色历史原型虽八竿子打不着，但人物形象的宗教隐喻，配这夸张的动作特效十分爽快。Bheem的“水之化身”与森林之子要结合历史才懂；Raju直白到干脆把罗摩的行头套身上了，连Alia客串的女配都是神话中罗摩的妻子悉多。这时候真恨不得速通一遍印度史诗，好把每一个镜头的宗教意味搞明白。果然，印度电影未来要靠南印。北方孟买什么的已经被网飞突突得差不多了。

我们的世界历史课本上写着张伯伦是一个愚蠢软弱的绥靖主义者，而其继任者丘吉尔则被赞为力挽狂澜的英雄，而这部电影则给了我们另一个角度来看待这位即使是丘吉尔上台后依然不敢怠慢的历史人物。
印度版《革命往事》，我们的两个英雄知道自己是谁，为何而战。英雄拉姆是“火”，英雄ntrl是“水”，编导有意识将两种元素碰撞在一起，形成化学反应，这一点在州长官邸的战斗中被充分放大。视效丰富，有着惊人的想象力，是那种你应该在大银幕上看的电影。
