The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 很有创意的一个对于“灵魂伴侣”的探究，怎样的组合才能走到最后：势均力敌，趣味相投 VS 截然不同，冲突很多，却能够相互更加包容。好像没有必要去考究，因为无论怎样的组合，都是需要去经营，只是与不同的人 会有不同的相处模式。

当年的life因为和曹叔有大量对手戏的二人我弃剧了，没想到这部电影还是没什么进步。努力了，但看不下去，告辞抱拳。
導演想拍愛的偶然與必然性，又想拍靈魂伴侶論，想法挺好，但是影片的剪輯太亂，最後哪個也沒顧到，缺了點靈性。
