The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 啥也别说了，这才代表了中国动画片的巅峰，看看这故事，看看这人物设定，无一不是经典，完全超过同一阶段迪士尼的动画片。可惜啊，如今这样的作品再也不会产生了。
这是中国动画中的又一部里程碑似的、绝对顶级的、足以彪炳史册的伟大作品，从故事情节的编排到人物造型与性格的设计再到动画技术的运用都堪称无以伦比，它虽然没有《大闹天宫》《哪吒闹海》在国际上那么知名，但我相信不少人还是会在自己心中将其列为中国动画的第一，因为《天书奇谭》绝对有这个实力。
中国动漫走了这么多年，还是要靠老一辈的工匠精神来打鸡血！不知是喜悦还是悲哀？！
这个电影明显想走文艺惊悚片路线，结果成了四不像，也并没有表达出什么深层含义……
