In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 7/10。看的上一部凯奇作品正好是《我心狂野》，落魄演员凯奇和当年的巨星凯奇对话，无比怀念却依然要故作诙谐给粉丝和观众强调that's my job，果然喜剧的内核都是悲剧。
无厘头与无脑还是有区别的。
不够癫狂，片时长，剧本弱、投资少，可毕竟还是凯奇啊，哇塞。

西班牙，福尔托尔角悬崖，一起入戏一起跳崖
确实还可以，但也就只是还行的程度吧。故事略微俗套，但也说的过去，演技也过关，但也没有十分出彩。比起凯奇这一蹶不振的十几年，这部算是略微小小振作了一下。但要恢复之前众多经典佳作来，凯奇同志还要努力啊。
及格分吧，前半段设定非常老套，非常政治正确。后半段又完全没有逻辑且不在节奏上。估猜是凯奇和私生饭导演躲到西班牙海岛上闭关嗑嗨了整出来的剧本。这么一想又行为艺术般地完美地呼应了电影情节。。。凯奇叔真是宝藏啊
这部片子凯奇想要表达的是：拍戏只是我的工作，老子怎么选剧本与你们有屁关系？更没打算转折…但这位导演又拍成了上一部《尴尬时刻》的尴尬时刻。
除了凯奇扮演凯奇以及时不时调侃一下自己拍过的电影，电影就是个三流快餐网大。尼古拉斯凯奇这块情怀招牌还能消费多久？
挺欢乐的，打破第四面墙的手法，致敬部分诚意满满，结局有点老套……
当纠结于尼古拉斯·凯奇的真人属性与演技名头是否副实时，才会明白这个片名叫这个的原因：一个天才巅峰不再，真的是非常痛苦的，哪怕曾经拥有，依然很难返回或达到另一个巅峰
编剧和导演估计都是凯奇的死忠粉，故事马马虎虎及格分以上，但看完以后想看凯奇早期的片子了。
凯奇债务终于还清，片子虽然属于自嘲恶搞类型，但是片方正式看上了这一点所以将其发挥到了极致。总体观感类似王牌保镖，喜剧+动作的设定百看不厌。
【YVR-Scotia】三星半。能够如此直白地打趣自己，估计也就Nicolas Cage了。
疯狂cue他自己的电影很有趣，但我觉得最有意思的是它毫无保留地嘲讽了凯奇咋咋呼呼的表演风格。笑点不错，能让凯奇的粉丝们在银幕前笑得像个憨批。然而频繁的戏剧化、反高潮的场景让整部电影节奏松散，完全用人物推动剧情，则显得没太多实质性的内容。

挺好玩的。其实我还挺喜欢曼蒂的（这是能说的吗）。卡里加里博士的小屋真的很好看的！！！！
从电影套娃式结构来看，凯奇也一直希望想演绎一部翻身佳作来重归好莱坞一线。年轻凯奇与中年凯奇的对撞中也说明了这一个天一个地心灵的差异，不过电影没有深挖其中的矛盾点，不然破产之痛一类的话题也是很有意思的。
