In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 其实完成度还可以，几个老戏骨演技也在线，惊艳的是geek的命定前后衔接，唯一不太好的就是男主前半段没啥台词，显得有点傻
剧情给到美恐一集就可以完事，但因为有这么多大牌在，必须每个人的戏份都拉长给足再加上恶趣味美学搞氛围，齁得慌。
I like how fate has bounded the characters together. The final act is gripping to watch. The shots in the film look beautiful, but Mr. del Toro has failed to impress me with his yet again thinnly written characters.
不是很对胃口，除了让一众很有味道的演员们复刻一下质感，惊悚到套路甚至临近结尾的反转有些不知所云。不得不说，那样的“感觉”是有了，或许是部分翻拍的意义。没看过原版，但也没任何直观感觉到属于这个时代的升级冲击。的当然前半段嘉年华和各种把戏轮番登场还是很精彩！/Bradley Cooper爹化可期（bushi）
我目前最喜欢的一部陀螺，一部彻头彻尾的Spooky show in a carnival。Cooper最后的嘶吼比小李子近年来的花式乱吼加起来都有感染力loll
最大的惊喜大概是cooper裸了，魔兔重聚其实也只是卡司相逢的幌子。大魔王的设定很好，最后的反转不过憋了口气要报复，很孩子气，但也合情合理。cooper最后一场戏的演技很绝，可也是仅限于此了。
7.5/老版演员都不熟悉，看得昏昏沉沉，但本片总体来说算是一部不错的翻拍、改编，比相近题材的《算牌人》好看。可能是台词写得太直白了，让这个“行骗”的故事没有满足观者的好奇心，所以评价很一般。最后的反转很一般，关键一个小时才出场的布兰切特这位最后的赢家戏份太少了，一切焦点都落在库柏这个大男主上，一点也不“黑色”。
2.5不能再多了/马戏团就很适合陀螺美学，但我这滤镜再厚也经不住这种磨蹭法，胖陀螺你哪里来的自信cooper可以撑起两个半小时的？👊🏻
陀螺对这些黑色奇诡的东西是真爱啊，他心里一定也有一个打包好的大篷车，随时准备扎营开秀吧，能通过影像来实现，再想想他那个装满收藏的荒凉山庄，挺羡慕的就是说。Stan的一生也像是一个讲着悲惨故事的秀台，一个畸胎标本罐子，一个恐怖装置通道那样，利用着观众的弱点也燃烧着自己的命运，一步一步走向错位的循环。I was born for it，啧啧啧。
我不信你没玩血源。收尾太露没啥亮点，不错的氛围营造。但剧情上，读心术偏抽象不够直白，就是一种编剧咋编观众咋看的感觉。
再次验证对陀螺的欣赏无能。只可惜了一票超级大牌。

滥用“心理学”？
陀螺的电影美学一如既往的无可挑剔完美至极，不知道是不是太沉溺其中马戏团部分拍得过美过长，即使已经是离谱的150分钟后面依然来不及好好讲了，故事剧情人物塑造全崩了。不忍给差评，拍得真的太美。
前一个小时铺垫太长 导致逐渐失去耐心 不过结尾不错
Cooper演得太棒了。
故事背景,还有细节都很有意思. 一点点魔幻的感觉. 只是故事讲的稍微匆忙了点. 再铺垫的扎实点,估计会很不错.
也不能说特别难看，就是看起来特华丽一道菜，吃起来味同嚼蜡，怎么能有这么虚无又平庸的故事
