The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 电影中有许多残酷的战争场面和镜头，往往让人来不及悲痛、落泪就又要继续前进，除了激烈 惨烈的战场，还有让人动容的亲情友情和爱情瞬间。最难忘的一个镜头便是 伍千里在雪地里为已牺牲的战友们点上一支烟，烟灭了，被风吹倒了，但战争还没有结束。就像多少鲜活脆弱的生命牺牲后，战争却仍然无情

为什么我看着炸桥过程这么糟心，完全没配合的感觉，你打你的，我打我的。
指导员的妆是怎么回事啊，提心吊胆一直以为他快不行了
徐克上手，战争戏拍得比上一部要细致，包括战略部署，与步步攻坚的过程。伍千里的两次动作戏，连续的飞身跳跃、挎着钢板下滑，最能体现导演的武侠风格。徐克也是技术控，雪与火的特效都有升级，印象最深的是，他详细展示了战士们形消骨灭的过程，最大程度渲染出了战士牺牲的悲壮与战争的残酷。
水门桥连修带炸，让我们看到了在那个时代，国家之间巨大的差距。
没有打不死的英雄
很惨烈的牺牲，历史的车轮就是这样推动起来。但是剪和拍的大概快一个小时才引起我的兴趣。

看完上部，我就说还可以再拍3个小时，这不就是了！但虽然是高潮部分，反而没有上部那么有层次了，文戏有故意喊solgan的嫌疑，讲悲壮，讲惨烈，讲中美当时的差距倒是很到位，战争的残酷和无奈也第一次有所触碰，不太喜欢这样这头没讲完就讲那头的节奏，眼花缭乱的剪辑有些无所适从，但或许这就是亲历者的感受，观众失去上帝视角反而彻底沉浸式体验了。
