剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     主角独立解决一个问题需要花上70分钟来做思想斗争，不够“检点”的女性总要无辜受害，天降奇迹/机械降神/凶手手下留情才能幸运绝处逢生，这样层出不穷的所谓“女性电影”，只是一次又一次重复地强化着千百年来被强加于女性身上的刻板印象（诸如脆弱、胆怯、内敛、依附、犹豫、情绪化、神经质……），一次又一次无形宣传着女性解放的绊脚石——清教徒式的道德观。而真正需要接受教育和警示的群体，根本不会被这样视听上故作清高，连主流视线都挤不进的arthouse horror吸引，又何来什么“科普”“共情”？终究只是一次内部消化的顾影自怜罢了。
