The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 這要重重的打醒那些老是認為美國人會為你出兵征戰的人的美夢，不要再異想天開，別劃錯電影內核的重點了。
堂而皇之的公开践踏人权，在拥有第一修正案的美国尚且不能拿起法律武器来维护，可见人的权利的维护时时刻刻不能被忽视，被搁置，被让渡。电影最后一幕，当一个个名字被念出，那份真正的爱国者光辉光芒万丈。
劇本及剪接強大，編導功力也比前作《莫莉遊戲》好得多。
the whold world is watching！堪比当年看悲惨世界的 do you hear the people sing！但是，怀揣美国梦的爱国者们，我替你们的理想感到可惜，现实的灯塔国用过去这差不多一年的种种，彻底打脸了。左或者右，这是个永远无解的命题，但我相信，自由民主，始终会是对此有所追求的理想主义者们，心中的向往。
剧本的设置也极为精彩。
很有张力的法庭群戏，台词和冲突设置满分。看过的片子里，cultural revolution真是影响了全世界，从北爱尔兰（以父之名）到巴黎（戏梦巴黎），再到芝加哥的Abbie Hoffman。
大胆发言：虽然身处不同文化、阶层和时代的趣味里，但艾伦索金的问题和李炳宪是一样的。
回顾起来 Abbie要比Tom格局大得多
犀利的文本无法掩盖镜头语言的贫乏，导致说教变得刻意而令人难受
sorkin真的是讨厌留白，密密麻麻中的明明白白，刚看完fred hampton的另一部片子，今年academy award居然还内部联动起来
熟悉的快剪辑风格，最后的庭审戏还是挺燃的。
