The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 我不相信救赎，但看着你抚育你这样的孩子让我觉得生命有意义。大概就是这么个意思吧。剧情不复杂，脉络清晰，不拖泥带水。唯一的不足是缺乏张力来弥补稍显单一的剧情。

比较老派的西部牛仔片，节奏较慢，但非常起范儿，只推荐爱好传统西部片的人观看。
西部片就是美国人的武侠片。一个金盆洗手的江湖高手，却不料再次卷入江湖仇杀当中。这样的剧情是不是就熟悉多了。从西部片横向比较其实比较普通，胜在干净利落味道纯正。
拓荒精神下的孤胆英雄，有些科恩兄弟《大地惊雷》的影子。事了拂衣去，深藏功与名。想起戈达尔说的那句：一部电影只需要一步枪和女孩就够了。我也超想拍酷女孩枪手的故事。
不可饶恕的剧本，只是老亨利感觉没有老牛仔气质，演技略显浮夸，没荒野三部曲那味。
我居然……被這種……如此俗套的故事……感動了……
老亨利是比利小子，最后击退来者，发现受伤男人手上的标志，原来是同伙，反被枪杀，儿子杀了受伤男人

美国西部老牛仔救了一条狼成了“东郭”先生，却没有“东郭先生”的命好，故事老套啦。且最后的牛仔枪战细节上立不住啊！
一百多年前的枪法真是神奇不🉑琢磨，也不用猜，反正主角不会死的太早。
制作精良，剧情薄弱，细节欠缺，很传统的西部片
