A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

都什么啊，拍得又长又啰嗦，每个人物都不值得可怜，感受不到情感…
摄影服装和美术视觉方面就像入口就化的牛奶巧克力，你可以相信《水形物语》的导演在这方面的绝对质感。但除此以外真的就像一滩烂泥，又长又臭又稀巴烂。故事完全没有让人看下去的欲望，如果不是几个奥斯卡戛纳影帝影后级的卡司阵容，这片子绝对就崩了。我不喜欢这种明明不复杂但却搞得看似特别深邃和拿捏的劲儿。当然，演员没有提奥斯卡个人奖项也是有道理的。剧情限制了演员的发挥，太拿架子了，看的让人不舒服。

不難看，但可能剪成幾集電視劇放上netflix效果更好
骨子里是黑色的讽刺喜剧，巴登的表演为本片增色不少。天平的暗示也很直白了。
从主角躺在鸡笼中间就能预料到的书档式架构还是那样有震慑力，so ironic,so destined。
AMC 没看过老版的，故事节奏很差，导致两个半小时让我觉得过于拖沓，毫无必要；马戏团真没必要着墨这么多，和后面的故事发展有很大的割裂感。其他方面都很好，有点可惜。好莱坞大概真的拍无可拍了，不是炒冷饭就是炒冷饭，还炒不好，食之无味。
没看过原版，但两个半小时的时长太拖沓！开头悬念，男主放火烧尸，中间回忆几度闪回，尽管有因有果，可男主性格有着说不出的别扭，感觉是剧本强行让他走向geek之路。《卡罗尔》两位女主几乎零互动！啊！宣传照骗人！
没看过1947年的老版。这版中的30-40年代的美国，从技术层面上，摄影、美术、服化道都很有年代感且精致。影片演员阵容强大，但是时长着实是一个硬伤，且不说看过老版和了解故事的人，即使第一次看也会觉得节奏过慢，铺垫太长。过长的铺垫和缓慢的节奏一般都是为了给结尾意想不到的惊天反转增加爆发力，可惜影片前期给出了大量的线索，即使stan在经历了一切之后变成了开始自己眼中那个最“可怜”的人，这样的结局并没给观众带来多大的意外，反而觉得是意料之中的事。不过娓娓道来的故事，沉下心来看，后劲会比较大。stan是一个有梦想的“聪明人”，在跨越阶级追逐梦想的路上聪明反被聪明误，被自己的自信和野心所蒙蔽，沦丧了道德，慢慢成为自己最了解也最可怜的人。即使是《马戏之王》巴纳姆，在当时人的眼中也不过是个“戏子”。三星半
Del Toro réunit tous les éléments indispensables pour rendre hommage au film noir, de la noirceur de l’intrigue à l’éclairage culte en passant par la «femme fatale»,dans 1 décor baroque amplement reconstruit des 40s. Avec le rise and fall de son anti-héros arriviste, le récit prend 1 forme circulaire dans 1 perspective assez prédictive à l’avance, ce qui réduit largement son aspect « suspens». Nightmare Alley reste un film noir esthétiquement abouti et divertissant aux traits freaks/monstrueux, thème de prédilection de son réalisateur.
剧情给到美恐一集就可以完事，但因为有这么多大牌在，必须每个人的戏份都拉长给足再加上恶趣味美学搞氛围，齁得慌。
过于冗长，而且我对普信男没有兴趣。但凡这男的不那么自信，也不会输得那么彻底。大魔王绝了。马戏团题材挺好，可惜没有发挥到我的点上
从看戏的变成了唱戏的，从旁观的变成了参与的，从二流戏子变成了下三流的怪物。偷鸡不成蚀把米，你欲情，我故纵。瞒天下所有人之心，藏不住低俗下烂的把戏。穿梭于世界上如行尸走肉，只为可怜的一点点爱，一点点名，一点点利。陀螺美学一次大行为爆炸，把戏与心理斗法过程好好看。玉兔cp只是个幌子，不过全方位被库珀帅到惨绝人寰，快来🌿我。
用一个小时为男主交代前史，致使整个电影完全失衡。
結局加一星，沒有落入老套的壞人伏法好人平安的發展。公司的經營理念“努力”“平衡”“忠誠”在黑心老闆的詮釋下變得如此諷刺，公平從來只是上等人用來放縱的藉口。
机关算尽太聪明，反误了卿卿性命。

三星半，看在卡司以及服装布景都挺有质感的份上。一个人被自己的野心吞没的故事不新鲜，可以拍得短一点。看完也没明白这译名哪来的。失去自己的孩子对父母来说并不是件容易接受的事，战神里头巧舌如簧的密米尔如此说到。我看过好多类似主题的电影，这部也算其中之一，遇到这样的事，没有人能走出来。明天我那遭遇丧子之痛的领导要回来上班了，我也不知要如何面对他。
原版没看过。属于蛇头虎尾，前半段一般般，有点拖沓，虽然很喜欢马戏团这个设置，后半段越来越好，结尾还是精彩的，也有陀螺的审美趣味在里面，但是惊喜不足，时长也有点太长了…
