哈姆雷特北欧if线，故事内核却与原著完全不同，倒是讲出了原著从未涉及的侧面。维京文化血腥残酷的外皮带来爆炸性的雄性荷尔蒙，把王子复仇记的男性叙事夸张化到让人难以忍受的地步。而讽刺的是故事原本的驱动力并不在于男性主导的权力争斗，而是王后这样的女性对于自由和爱情的渴望。奥菲利亚的爱情这一次也没有拯救愚昧的王子，但是至少让自己免于毁灭。整部电影为数不多的亮色调全用在安雅这边了……
