The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 3.5星，剧情没太有新意，但是我喜欢的类型所以完全看得下去，幼稚的吵吵闹闹又互相吸引，轻松开心打发时间，不觉得无聊，如果不喜欢这种类型就不必看了

一个生活不说邋遢也是普通人的不修边幅，另一个完全就是强迫症，也要撮到一起…
以为是个商业性的赌片。然后好像他要完成一个厚重的任务，又好像电影想表达一种宗教类的神秘内涵，也像要对社会、国家、政治进行控诉，又跑偏到为相对小众人权发声，所以啥也不是。呸！
2021威尼斯主竞赛入围+2021手册十佳第9位。剧作一流，台词精彩，旁白特别值得分析；视听上保罗施拉德强调数字感的方式是通过极为清晰的景深镜头实现的，这个景深的处理往前就接到比如《圣鹿之死》等作品；用2D化的VR镜头来呈现梦境和记忆也是第一次见到有人这么做！演员处理上特别布列松（旁白也很布列松哈哈哈），不过美国演员跟这套风格确实不搭……战争相关的PTSD居然还能翻出新花样，实在厉害，奥斯卡怎么着也得给个编剧提名吧！

睡了醒，醒了睡，说不清是我太累了还是这片真的蛮无聊的，鱼眼镜头的监狱片段视觉上很有意思，每次赢牌就要喊USA的那群人好讽刺。
