The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 愿世界和平愿世界美好。
故事主要传达爱、善意和理解。演员之间配合地很好，同一拨演员分饰两个不同地域的人，期间的角色转换一点不突兀，甚至在最后能很好地融合在一起，实在厉害。舞台灯光主要就是冷暖色相的变化，但是样式很丰富。音乐契合故事的发展脉络，最后单纯只有乐队的呈现也是个很好的结尾方式。
一群高矮胖瘦、黑、白、有色，看上去就是日常中极其普通的中老年人，在舞台上又唱又跳整出一台戏，突然想起在自家小区楼下，看跳广场舞的大爷大妈们。感觉哪里怪怪的……
这个真的太棒了！！一人分饰多角 无缝衔接 音乐也很动人
这才是纪念 911 的最好选材方式，受灾的是平民，也讲平民叙事。世界以痛吻我，我却报之以歌。哪里有黑暗哪里就有光明，哪里有悲伤哪里就有快乐。受限于戏剧的形式很多地方还是要做过多解释，稍显拖沓，改编成电影一定会更好的。

太太太好看了
救命🆘太好看了太好听了之前只是在听原声带现在才把官摄看了，就很像有声故事书一样，节奏好棒好连贯完全没有断开的感觉
第一次主动看音乐剧，我还不太会欣赏。将近两个小时的表演，从头到尾专注的看完，同时又要准确的理解其剧情，含义还是很有难度的。找时间再来追第二遍吧。整个情节十分流畅，人物剧情也很生动且活泼，就是美式幽默我还get不到。看来9.11将是美国无法抹去的哀伤。
