The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 儿童电影，不能以成人的标准来衡量。小孩子喜欢才是硬道理。
乡，是那每日钻过的栏杆，是带球晃过的小巷，也是硝烟弥漫的铺户。至于家，是吾心安处的亲人，是终将思念的篱笆。又是一出导演的私人回忆，远在海角的贝尔法斯特，六十年代的信仰纷争。过多响起的配乐不是什么高章的表达选择。光的质感与同类型黑白影像《罗马》相比粗陋不少。

爱丁宝人生中去电影院看的第三部电影。她如果会给星，一定给五星，她说非常好看。反正看喜欢的动画片总是连眼睛都不眨，我只能一遍遍提醒她“眨眨眼”。但旁边的小女孩一直在说“不想看了”🤪
很喜欢这部电影，没懂为啥评分这么低。也许是在英国待了很久，也去Belfast游览过，所以我能共情到这一份乡愁。配乐和John Wayne都超有年代感。非常多有趣的台词，尤其是爷爷，真是位deep thinker，导演的童年投射很多。“For the ones who stayed” “For the ones who left” “For all the ones who were lost”，很受触动，其实单纯从触动的角度来说，本片于我而言比《罗马》要共情的多。

又一部奥斯卡呼声高的怀旧影片，在金球奖中获得最佳编剧奖。演而优则导的导演自己也出演，非常用心地再现了对自己故乡—爱尔兰的贝尔法斯特及60年代的童年生活的怀念，各方面的制作都很精致。可能所说的地方和时代与我们太远了，非英国的观众，似乎难以被感染许多。
7.0/远的《罗马》不说，比《上帝之手》差的也不是一点点，这种私人化的的影像最忌平淡无味，是《正午》的OST打动评委们了？

不理解这部片子评分好低，我还挺喜欢这种调调的，让我想起了自己小时候的街区，搬家引起的不安和恐惧，长大了再回去小时候的街区觉得像梦一样
北爱版《童年往事》，巧的是被套上了北爱的激进岁月，呼应了当下这个大撕裂的时代，每年的颁奖季都有这么几部私心重又步步踩点得分的命题作文，应景但并不讨巧，顶多是这个风口的注脚。
