很美式的故事，更喜欢童年部分。有点儿像是舅舅版《完美的世界》。

大本的表现很赞，编剧功力还差一点点。酒吧的大叔们应该有更多在他人生中的启迪，现在看起来像一群只会请他喝酒的大叔。姥爷也应该有更多情绪可以被放大，还缺了那么一点，母亲跟舅舅对他的意义，还可以强化一些，再去掉一些。演技不是这群人的问题，选角很赞，乔治克鲁尼的导演功力也有进步，但整体的剧本，真心差了一点……
