The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 于漫漫黑夜中，绝望无尽处，看到光，那是人性中的“善”，总有希望，总有温暖。

9.11二十周年，当初岛上停留的旅客，机组成员和原住民给彼此带来的温暖延续到了现在，女机长的部分全剧最佳。愿战争远离我们，和平不易。
整部剧的基调是自由主义式的，或许这才是正确对抗恐怖主义的途径。用融合代替隔离，用积极代替阴郁，用好好生活代替暴力反应。这部剧是在支离破碎中开出的鲜花，远比美军践踏阿富汗这20年取得的成绩都大。
Something is missing but I'm here. 前半段航班人员被困的经历，在当前疫情封闭管控的魔幻现实面前显得微不足道。但后半段确实鼓舞人心，重要的是在经历这一切后我仍在这，在困境中寻找快乐，宛若重生。
So Canadian! 没能在多伦多看现场也要加入多伦多遗憾清单了。
