结尾反转成女主无辜，结合之前的两条时间线叙事，工整的好莱坞模式，但也未免落入俗套，削弱了主题-无法宽恕。这部电影触及了一些可以深挖的社会问题，但也仅仅是浅尝即止而已。

一代影后桑德拉今年57岁了，饰演五龄童的姐姐露丝，并没给人不适感。为了守卫家园，五岁的妹妹开枪打死了警官，露丝为妹妹扛下了一切，定罪的过程没有交代，从刑律的角度看，显然没这么简单，你认了就一定是你？但这似乎可以忽略。露丝入狱服刑20年，假释出狱后艰难地重新开始，她受尽屈辱，唯一支撑她继续生活下去的动力是寻找妹妹。她付出了一生，只为得到亲人的一个无言的拥抱。很感人。
我们与恶的距离……我女神的演技真的是逆天，秒杀所有国内女演员……故事几乎是满分的，每个人物之间的冲突和作用力设置得都很到位，其实可以再做点减法。能看出来是根据剧集原著改编的，但还是在人物和冲突设置上有很多值得学习的地方。

一个并不复杂的故事被导演讲述得抽丝剥茧，情绪也随着真相大白一涌而出。女主桑德拉的演技了得，非常细腻，姐姐这个角色是相当丰满了。
槽点有点多，不合情理，然后5岁+20不是25岁吗？怎么还是高中生？
Sandra Bullock演得不錯，但電影本身就是Netflix流水片水準......
