The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 没想到这几个人物的演出就完成了这样一部有内容的好电影，看的过程中就有想流泪的感觉，看到影片最后两行热泪也跟着流下来，很完美的收尾。
电影是偏文艺的科幻，类似《降临》，用一种文艺电影的方式去展现一个科幻的故事，整体是比较完整的，值得赞美的是影片的美学，不管是布景还是调色，质感都是科幻电影里非常让人舒服的。可能是因为是苹果出的原创片吧，秉持了苹果摄像头影像还原和色调处理的卓越功力。
2022022类似于前些年的《升级》，这种探讨人类伦理和科技之间的针锋相对的软科幻才是有滋有味。社会化的我可以给家人以交代，能做出这样的选择至少在本质上他是个善良的人
4.5-从《廊桥遗梦》哭到《天鹅挽歌》。不去深究那些深刻的伦理观念，重要的是我爱你，我还能继续爱你。
感觉疫情开始以后，就再没有看过这么好的电影了。
是节奏缓慢而抒情的电影，里面呈现的生活方式，很像是苹果的长篇广告

近段时间看过的最好的作品，真是一首优雅的挽歌

克隆人替代本体的道德伦理困境其实只是本片的手段，而绝非目的，电影真正关注的，应该是英年早逝的人如何体面的离开，如何让关心的人继续原来的生活。如果从这个角度切入，电影在美学和主题上就有足够的先进性了。可惜这个手段的论证明显不足，光靠男主角的表演，本片是无法称为佳作的。

节奏很棒，导演处女长片 请来绿皮书主角，很喜欢男主的表现，很多未来世界的细节也很到位，没有维和和强加于人的感觉。
从故事类型到叙事风格，整体与亚历克斯·加兰非常相似。｜7.0
