《哭泣的男人》隐约有些《廊桥遗梦》+《完美的世界》的味道，但克林特·伊斯特伍德老爷子毕竟已是91岁鲐背之年，片子的整体精细程度已不如已成传奇的两部前作，不过个人风格仍是满满，豪放不羁，欹嵚历落。牛仔迟暮，壮心不已，片中酒馆老板娘的话才是画龙点睛：“我做我想做的事，无须别人来告诉我该怎么做。”主题曲为影片增色不少，值得单曲循环一整天。（《Sabor a Mí》《Find a New Home》）
