虽然难免传记片失之流水账的通病，对于很多人和事也颇多美化，但是胜在歌好听。以前看梅艳芳的故事，会觉得悲。但现在看，只觉灿烂。

相比原版的斗智斗勇，这版更侧重家庭。男主没和前妻复合好评。
