好久没看过这么“健康”的欧洲片了。就是镜头晃得眼晕……摄影也太喜欢甩了吧😵💫
战争、经济危机、失业、党派之争，不仅是肉体上的，还有精神上的憔悴，法比安、科妮莉娅、拉布德，何尝不是一个缩影，坐在同一辆列车上的乘客，它载着所有人飞驰，过了一站又一站，向着那一永不可及的目的地，向着理想，向着每个人想要获得，但却又不得不为之付出的交易中去。溺水的人与学会游泳的人，前者在水中溺亡，而后者的答案不正是这样的一个经典的回答吗，我过得很好但却不开心，而这不就是来到这里的原因吗。另外这一精神困境，可以说也并非是特定时代的悲剧，影片从开篇的第一个长镜头(由地铁走到地上的过程)，其实就已经将现代与过去，如今的德国与魏玛时期的德国进行了一个没有剪切的连续的无缝的连接，这意味着虽然社会、政治、环境等不同了，但这一精神困境，却仍如幽灵般在现代化内部徘徊，是一个未曾解决的，与其过去相连的共通的存在。

7/10 豆瓣简介里写的东西都没有看出来。我很敬佩导演的努力，但他也许更擅长拍TV，大银幕观众的体验他没有完全抓住，并不是镜头剪辑很乱很碎就体现了慌乱动荡。（关于手持镜头这事，我们得好好谈谈

法比安和Julie简直是性格、境遇完全相反的两个人物，虽然更喜欢Julie一点，但是Fabian显然比糟糕的人拍的好。
这个旁白也没有让我厌烦。
4.5 现代派文学叙事的影像化，无疑是新奇又成功的：不是就应该用上各种手持、闪前、跳切、噪音，广播、报纸、海报、archive footage，才能描绘出一个肉欲横流、道德沦丧、萎靡不振、疯狂右倾的魏玛时代吗？但这事儿直到2021年才被完成，也是挺吊诡的。与德布林的《柏林亚历山大广场》异曲同工，相比剧场的、室内的、为“电视”拍摄的法斯宾德，多米尼克·格拉夫实在是另一个极端。

#VIFF40 一个tacky而chic的故事。可以说绝大多数的情节都那么predictable，但却被组织得跳出框架而充满灵气。这帧在讲述庞然大物般的历史笼罩下，对着情人一缕发丝的缠绵悱恻，渴求枕稳衾温，那帧就是友人的血渍溅满一墙的悲哀、绝望，轰轰然将人赶向边缘，无声或癫狂。导演似乎一点不遵从陈言务去的美德——但或许在影像里头它不那么重要——留下冷血、尖锐的纪录，甚至沉重，让那些轻快的时刻也难以令人放松。常常觉得像是电视剧的文本，可那些眼花缭乱却恰到好处的影像及其质感又反复自证是film materials（汤姆希林敬业！再多演一些！
一个现代视角的快速切入重叠，幽灵穿过，即将进入狂热社会前的时空闪现。大量素材画面的剪切拼贴（始终重叠着过去/现在/未来），始终穿插的手持视角，Fritz Lang式的表现主义怪异柏林，性/消费/香烟/吗啡/社会主义/党卫军/一战后的畸零/电影片场/扭曲的人体/死亡/枪/断肢/异装癖/性倒错/控制/德国马克，法比安社会侧写式的文本/旁白（始终提示，这是一个过去的文本）/海报符码/渐进的事件互相扭曲在一起，在混乱的影像熵增中走向必然的毁灭（也是现在正在进行的），今天的眼泪给我们必然面对的现实。
