The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 对文学创作图景的复原与时代勾勒- -关于时至今日也足够津津乐道的假新闻与小报文化，也细数出版的困难和挣扎，更囊括新兴的技术与追逐；这些部分耳目一新，也同样被丰富地填满在角色的这些经历之中（更加增添了想买译文那套插图珍藏本原著的想法！）。但这之外的情感戏，旁白的闪现都显得散漫；得承认是因为大家的颜，才把感到吃力的部分迈了过去。

只比TV好点，剧情还是很刻意，很流水线的剧情。
武戏上虽然能看出武居确实努力了，单人打戏拍的有进步，但多人的打戏拍的仍然感觉怪怪的，还是比不上田口和坂本的武戏。
