剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     7.5分。电影没那么完美，但还是让我共情了。开始看得有点迷惑，看到后面才明白是主角的同名话剧讲述自己第一部音乐剧诞生和失败的过程，话剧和现实形成鲜明的对比。失败过后继续努力写下去，在功成名就的前一天突然死去，真是悲剧人生。(最后加菲那笑容让人难过……想到原型的人生……)

    给纽约theatre and theatre junkies的一封情书。central park delacorte theatre, ny theatre workshop，playwrights horizons...全都是戏剧生活里忘不掉的回忆。正值Sondheim老爷子忌日，theatre legends们出来唱Sunday一段，看得直掉眼泪-对我来说，全剧唯一精华。之前workshop出现的作曲家和作家，也都是真实的theatre创作者们。对Jon本人的剧没什么感觉（音乐实在不感冒），这一部TTB也稍显幼稚粗浅。可是贵在真情。Andrew演的Angels in America可作为90年代AIDS事件的补充拓展，那剧是真有深度和灵魂。。

    把任何困難都盡全力去樂觀，永遠積極的人，觀眾看著總會覺得他在天才和傻屌之間徘徊，黎明前的黑暗果然就是最黑的，咬牙拼了。故事背後的故事，令人心疼。
