韩国拍了新世界的坏处，就是此后韩国黑帮片都免不了和新世界比一比。偶尔有台词能显出小说性。
另外就是他作为吸血鬼目前的能力不是很有特色，看起来像超人，似乎没有突出的一技之长，只是力量大、速度快。

韩国早期黑帮的故事，热不热血不好说。并未觉得该片好看，以为是因为文化和年代的差异，后来觉得应该是电影本身的问题，好莱坞的黑帮片同样存在上述差异，怎么就那么好看呢。
