The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 高概念喜剧，创意非常有趣（虽然是漫改），静物化人从影像表现方式上来说并不难，也确实是好玩的。只不过精力都放在台词的押韵俏皮上了，不是不行，但得有清晰的主线吧？女主虽然是工具人，好歹得给人家点成长空间？这也太不尊重工具人了。

Charlie目前的三部长片，依次靠名人爸妈、前女友和老婆的人脉组建团队；很幸运，也因为这份取得上的轻松而对总是背离的质量感到可惜。作为又一部诞生于后疫情时代，仅保留主要演员、在固定空间进行的电影它无甚新鲜；甚至在已经讨论“放开”的当下，更显得有种莫名其妙的“历史感”。底线是，每个演员都被分到了足够的任务，并顺利地执行，也就足够了（当然还有Jesse Plemons的角色可以在现时新闻下提供比照所产生的另类乐趣，也还存在一点被谈论吹水的价值）。

一个喜剧片全程我没笑一下，都是些下三路的烂梗。这个设定本可以做的很有意思。最后只想说跟绿萝恋爱不香吗？
不过除此之外真的还是挺无聊的 黄段子挺多

因为一个“雷劈”引发的故事，感觉编剧、导演是在喝多的时候想出来的故事

这年头编剧的脑洞我都要跟不上了，这是雷劈后要上头的节奏呀
浪子回头值得表扬的不是浪子，而是回头的这个动作符合真善美，社会留给人改错的机会。
