The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 很韩国的灾难片了，不过灾难也就是空气净化器产品有毒只是个引子，引出来的是政府企业的官官相护和官商勾结，他们在酒绿灯红的时候，牺牲的都是老百姓。几段高潮的戏份感觉不是很到位，没体现出剧情和人物的反转，结局时候法庭上几个部门之间相互踢皮球最后来个总结陈词一起去吃个饭还挺精彩，与其说精彩倒不如说写实
除了结尾前十几分钟，前面的部分几乎没有什么力量。但想这样写下短评的时候突然想到这是根据真实事件改编…瞬间一阵心酸。
就冲人家能拍出来，自己人拍不出来，我就能给五星，因为现实永远比电影黑暗
细思极恐，那些看不见的黑手最为恐怖，利益熏心。反观一下现在的疫情还有检测机构，能正义履职尽责的又有多少？上层决策底层执行，需要的不仅仅是执行，论证和怀疑过吗？
警世制作：看了会悲，会愤！更会致敬对良知的坚守！
从未见过如此平铺直叙的电影。比起电影更像日剧的sp，把之前的电视剧浓缩成1集时长，在sp里是很难想象到反转的，毕竟是流水账，所以不是反转本身让人惊艳，是流水账中突然来了个激灵让人割裂。最后的法庭戏仿佛过家家，如果韩国公务员们开庭确实是来搞笑的，当我没说
剧情有点平庸，现实不够无力，最后的反击又不够让人兴奋
空气杀人 的简中版翻译的比较一般，但看情节没有太大的问题。故事都写在海报上了，剧透一点有很多打官司的戏。算近年来及格线以上的韩国电影，没有惊艳，底线也不低。比较不理解有人挑刺李先彬的演技，和电影一样不惊艳是肯定的，但也没有到挨骂的程度。这种靠技术性反转，200分钟容量剪成100分钟时长的电影演员发挥空间不大。看完就忘记的电影，爽100分钟足矣，至于最后故意拔高那一下是好是坏，就仁者见仁智者见智了。
叙事确实平铺直叙，有时候也有些刻意 但是有被那句“我是敏智爸爸”感动到！！原来是卧薪尝胆 釜底抽薪 整体还不错
首尾部分还不错，中间略显拖沓。各部门推诿在各国都发生着，令人心寒。韩国人敢于发声的这点，真的很棒！
整部电影就是很平的，我不想说真实事件如何如何，电影就一般般。

拍的这么好的片我不许它分数这么低，韩国电影的崛起就在于什么题材都能涉及，普通民众对抗大财阀，法院的无能，专家证人的作假，官官相护的小团体，依靠良知对抗的艰辛，本片都有表现，而且因为是真实事件改编，更加触动人心
他们怎么敢？怎么能这样？美国杜邦、日本水俣病、韩国加湿器消毒剂……尊敬的前辈、反水的证人，这电影教你什么是人性的险恶。结尾各部门互相推皮球让人觉得荒诞。产品写着“国家安全认证”成了一个笑话。
警世制作：看了会悲，会愤！更会致敬对良知的坚守！
前面太套路化了，正义被处处针对。后面的反转又太天降正义。
太无聊了，还是那个老套路，这种剧本你把加湿器换成别的又能拍一部。
吓得我别说加湿器杀菌剂，加湿器都不敢用了。
首先题材绝对值得给赞，韩国电影一直在反思历史和社会事件，这点必须钦佩。但艺术价值就一般般了，镜头运动、构图等韩剧感十足，光打的也很平，电影感很弱。某些角色塑造的很表面，失去妻儿必成酒鬼，听到新闻必摔酒瓶之类的桥段很俗套… 最出彩的应该是那个意想不到的反转，但如果导演是为了让反转更出其不意，刻意把前面做的俗套，那我想说他成功了。
