The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 虽然情节老套，但是这样的题材还是太少了，请多拍。最后，还是缺贝斯，怨念。
同类电影里，剧情略显老套，但看着舒服。即如很多金属乐里的老套和弦，听着就是过瘾。
青春校园题材看得开心还是满开心的，但是也未免。。。太正能量宅男幻想了吧，宛若一个鼓手界的纽特。。。
从skullfucker到skullflower, 是metal让他们温柔了，找到自己的同伴真是幸福，每一份愤世嫉俗都宣泄着不被理解的寂寞。

开始觉得普通和套路，到最后各色人等情绪是真的铺垫到位了。自由的代价真大。这场锡尔弗顿之围发生在1980年，而曼德拉释放已经是10年后的1990年了。

没想到大提琴也可以玩重金属！大提琴手用电子大提琴出场的时候帅炸了！片中的大提琴曲目是巴赫大提琴无伴奏组曲的 suite 1, 还是很经典的。为了“过审”，乐队名字从 skullfucker 换成 skullflower 也是很有创意了。

剧情挺简单的。演员选得都好显小和学生气啊。说metal gay和Emily爆发那段很好笑
故事还是美式校园青春片的老套路，但光是片中的经典金属乐和一个接一个金属元素就很令人兴奋了。主创团队强大，包括权游编剧D.B. Weiss（还亲自参与主题曲的作词）和音乐总监RATM的Tom Morello，还不要忽略原声音乐制作Ramin Djawadi，“War Pigs”大提琴版很容易联想起他在西部世界里贡献的令人难忘的“Wicked Games”。Kirk Hammet, Scoot Ian, Rob Halford和Tom Morello客串出镜也很惊喜，男主长得好像Soony Moore(Skrillex)啊，尤其是剃掉半边头的发型。
