Women He's Undressed is a cinema length documentary that explores the life of Australia's most prolific costume designer. Until now Orry-Kelly has been unacknowledged in his country of birth and pretty well forgotten in the adopted country of his greatest success. During the boom years of Hollywood he was the costume designer on an astonishing 282 motion pictures. He designed for the stars like Marilyn Munroe, Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, Rosalind Russell, Errol Flynn and many more of the immortals. His films included Some Like It Hot, Casablanca, An American in Paris and Now, Voyager. Orry-Kelly (Jack to his friends) won three Academy Awards and was nominated for a fourth. Orry-Kelly was Head of Warner Brothers Costume Department during the richest period of American film, the establishment of the dream factory and its effect on mass culture. 本片題材是典型的希區柯克式“後窗”式驚悚，橋段猶如科波拉的《竊聽大陰謀》，表面看來是一部墨守成規的新瓶裝舊酒，但實際上蘊含了一個電影作者對當下現代社會以及疫情時代的種種看法。此片開頭拍法奇詭，以去除人性，簡潔的分鏡，強調智能產品的無情，並非科技本身，而是源於功利的企業家對外界的冷漠。儘管這種科技是一把雙刃劍的主題太老生常談，但編導卻把角色跟蹤別人的行動，賦予一種科技侵犯個人隱私的不安，並拒絕為無害的人性慾望下道德審判，而是批判貪婪偽善的管理層濫用科技侵犯隱私的行為。在故事也把女主角的心理創傷恐懼外界的交流化為對疫情時代的焦慮，無疑把這個老套懸疑設計又拍出新意，編導用傾斜的手提攝影以及誇張的聲音設計，強調了女主角的無處可逃，捕捉了一種社會群體對未知焦慮的恐懼不安。

几条叙事线交叉进行，中间为了真实还有很多插叙采访，感觉有点混乱；Nicole Kidman现在的外形倒是和Lucille Ball相差甚远，但她这次的表演还挺感情充沛，不是歇斯底里；对Lucille Ball不算很熟悉，但通过这个电影对她产生了一种探索欲
没看懂，中间瞌睡虫和进度条争相领先。
剧中以曾经的一部热播肥皂剧回顾并讲述好莱坞的一个历史断面，讲述一个人戏里戏外人生的选择。不喜欢
结尾真棒 Lucy和Desi超有魅力 但其他人物很单薄

前面挺有意思，有点想希区柯克 电话那个电影，她为别人求救未果，就让人联想后面她自己会不会遇到危险。然而到了后面……what the what ? 结论：人工智能可以的，是人不行……好吧。
拍喜剧的演员说我们拍的又不是万尼亚舅舅，这部拍片场比滨口龙介拍得好玩多了。
这种需要一点儿美国娱乐史的片子还是不太能投入看，哪怕是阿伦索金的本子。
