The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 新西兰制造的祖孙电影，但除了兰普林的存在之外乏善可陈。题材本可以是演员息影的绝佳告别之作，但这个剧本远不够好，怡情小酒而已。以临死之人回首青春的遐思静静回顾昔日影像，电影角色离经叛道的传奇一生和演员波澜起伏的银幕历程互为镜像造就恰如其分的「老去」终点意味（也因典型气质毫无挑战），影片刻意追求的感伤多半来自她的魅力赋予想象，此外每个情节和意象都是陈词滥调。平静求死的渴望和继续生活的勇气在最后的日出落下收尾音符。这次你素未谋面，令人生畏的祖母不会不由分说就拿高姆刺测试你的潜能，而是直接往你脸上砸玻璃杯，你说I got expelled, 她回以I’m proud of you. 没有一处转折不能被预料，然而还是会被乡村风光和自然演绎勾动的情绪触发泪点，葬礼上的Haka和火光边的拥舞让人泪流不止。

文艺片也有套路，剧本俗套，从开头开始，剧情和人物性格都能被猜到。17分钟弃剧。新西兰的电影不大行。

冲着ztmy的主题歌来看的，
挺中规中矩的电影，长尾的演技有点青涩，但整体来说不会出戏。有轻微抑郁情绪的我有被开导到，痛苦的时候假装自己是寄宿在他人身体里，从客观的角度看看自己的生活也挺不错。
奶奶和奶宝的隔代亲、隔代乐、隔代情蛮有新意哈，温情点也有不少炫酷笑点啊哈哈哈
