The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 7分，无处排解的对过去的痛苦回忆，不同于出租车司机，这次有了明确的指向，关塔那摩虐囚事件，拍的犹如“亡命驾驶”一样逼格满满，难以移开视线；装扮成满身美国国旗的职业赌徒，每赢一次就大喊一声USA，而且一直在赢，滑稽的明喻。

节奏很慢，也并非赌片。静下心来，看到最后，实际上就是内心的反思与自我救赎。不花哨，但沉静有爱。
配乐是真好听

3.0。运用非布列松的表演方式和剪辑节奏，去表现布列松的电影内核，这是矛盾而无效的。除去鱼眼镜头带来的压迫感，整体极为散漫。

有点牵强，但我又还挺喜欢这个故事，一些设定和场景蛮有意思，这么新的画面质量把啥都拍清晰了也不一定是好事，怪怪的观感。奥斯卡真他娘帅。
